Located on Avenida da Liberdade, right in the heart of Lisbon, this is an elegant 5-star hotel. Renowned for its business meeting facilities for top executives, Tivoli Lisboa continues the tradition of being a well-known meeting point in the city. You can enjoy a drink in the privacy of the Terraço Bar with a superb view over Lisbon, or take a moment to relax in the lobby bar. We suggest a visit to our lively Brasserie Flo Lisbon restaurant which satisfies even the most discerning of palates. At the Terraço Restaurant, enjoy a selection of stylish dishes, accompanied by a unique view over the city.
Discover a truly Parisian experience in the heart of Lisbon. Starting with the decoration, Brasserie FLO Restaurant enables you to experience a 'bon vivant' approach to life. The combination of fresh oysters and seafood specialities, together with international cuisine, ensure you hours of culinary pleasure. The brasserie is open from 07:00 to 10:30 for breakfast as well as from 12:00 to 00:00.
The Terrace Restaurant is on the top floor of the hotel and considered one of the best restaurants in Lisbon. Meet distinguished guests or politicians while enjoying panoramic views of the city. Seating up to 80 guests, the restaurant is open for lunch from 12:30 to 15:00 and dinner from 19:30 to 23:00.
The Lobby Bar, open from 09:00 until 01:00, is a distinctive meeting place, offering a wide range of beverages as well as fine dining. Relax in style while reading the daily newspaper.
Lisbon can best be seen by strolling through the typical neighbourhoods of Alfama or Bairro Alto, hopping on board a tram, taking a boat along the river, or even by using Lisbon's underground, with its decorative stations, many of which are true works of art by well-known Portuguese artists.
Apart from the vast choice of museums throughout the city, a visit to Belém - west of the city - is an absolute must, with its gardens, the Torre de Belém and the Jerónimos Monastery, both classified by UNESCO as world heritage. Next door, the modern Centro Cultural de Belém, the 18th century Coach Museum and the never-to-be-forgotten local pastries, the Pastéis de Belém.
East of the city, you can find the brand new Parque das Nações (ex-Expo'98) with a variety of leisure attractions, including the Oceanarium, widely considered to be one of the best in the world.
May we suggest a tour?
Panorama Lisbon
See Lisbon from a new perspective. Visit the city's impressive monumental area and travel by Portugal's most modern form of transport.
Come aboard our most recent tour, in a luxurious coach, which goes from the city centre (Parque Eduardo VII) to the ancient area of Belém (where you will visit the Mosteiro dos Jerónimos, Torre de Belém, Monumento dos Descobrimentos and the Coches Museum).
You will then be driven to a downtown train station to take a modern, double-decker train with air-conditioned carriages, complete with background music. Crossing the River Tagus, Lisbon is magnificently laid out at your feet. On your way back, your tour will end at Entrecampos station. (The return trip to the hotel is not included.)
Charms of Lisbon:
A half day tour to visit the Oceanarium, both bridges spanning the River Tagus and the monumental area of Belém. Departure to the Parque das Nações (former Expo'98), to visit the Lisbon Oceanarium, where 5 main habitats have been recreated - a large, central tank, representing the open seas, and 4 coastal habitats: the rocky North Atlantic coast, the sandy Atlantic coasts, the temperate Pacific, and the tropical Indian coral habitat.
Altogether, more than 30 tanks make up the Oceanarium, which contains over 7,000 m3 of saltwater. The habitats and their fauna and flora were carefully reproduced, respecting geological and climatic factors and even the local sounds and music.
After visiting the Oceanarium, our tour will take you along the Vasco da Gama bridge, with its breathtaking view of the Tagus riverbanks and the Parque das Nações.
Back to Lisbon, via the 25 de Abril bridge, from which you can see the city's riverbanks spread out at your feet and the towering Cristo Rei (Christ the King) monument.
You will arrive at the monumental area of Belém, an example of true Manueline art, with its 2 masterpieces: the Jerónimos monastery and the Torre de Belém. Our panoramic tour ends with a visit to the commemorative Padrão dos Descobrimentos.
Lisbon by Night:
Marquês de Pombal - Av. da Liberdade - Rossio - Terreiro do Paço - Padrão dos Descobrimentos - Torre de Belém - Jerónimos Monastery - 25th April Bridge - Alcântara - Typical restaurant with Fado show - Return to Hotel.
Cruises along the Tagus:
Lisbon is a true city of the river and sea and the best way to see her is on a boat trip along the Tagus. Lisbon's history and Lisbon's life are there before you.
Viewpoints:
Lisbon's 7 hills, the endless neighbourhoods and the unique Southern light, have captivated writers, photographers and painters for many years.
See the city from the many viewpoints - St George's Castle, São Pedro de Alcântara, Graça, Santa Catarina or even from the other side of the River Tagus, from the Cristo Rei monument.

The girls on redception. They were the nicest I have ever met in a hotel
and so kind and helpful when I left my jacket on the train from Faro.
They found it for me. The hotel pool was great and the room was good. It
had everything to make my stay easy. Also a good position.
The beds were hard and uncomfortable and I really did not like the chap
on reception when we arrived, tired and hungry, trying to upgrade us for
a higher price. It was a hard sell and he just wouldn't leave us alone.

The room was spacious and the hotel has an excellent location
The Hotel is having major improvements done at present and as a result there was no Terrace Dining Room, Gym or Pool Bar. The only Bar was in the Lobby which like the majority of the hotel was subject to contant drilling from 8 30 in the morning until 7pm. This work is supposed to be finished by 18th June but it made our stay at the hotel a very poor experience. Will be good when finished

We really liked the staff - great service all over. And the garden with open-air swimming-pool was an oasis in the middle of the city.
