Hotel Opera is situated near The Royal Theatre, Kongens Nytorv, "Strøget" and fascinating Nyhavn. It is a charming hotel in "the old-fashioned English style", with 91 rooms and suites with all the appropriate facilities. The hotel has many newly decorated "opera" rooms all named after famous operas. The breakfast is served in the cozy breakfast restaurant, and for the rest of the day you can enjoy an aperitif, coffee, tea or an after-theatre drink in the charming Lobby Bar. There are excellent parking possibilities.

Room information

Nine "opera rooms" have been newly decorated and named after famous operas. Furthermore, ten of the rooms have taps in 24-carat gold. They were installed more than 30 years ago during a renovation of the hotel. However, when the previous owner received the bill for these taps, he immediately decided for normal taps in the remaining rooms!

Amazing staff. Perfect location. Very central, close to Metro, taxis and other transport.

The rooms are not big, but the room design and hotel atmosphere is great.

They gave us a better room than we expected. I have ordered a normal double room, but they gave us a suit with same price.

Location is very central. On one side you have the very famous shopping street, on the other side you have Nyhaven (famous canal that appears on pictures). LCD TV in each room.

When you take a shower you get the entire bathroom floor wet because the floor in which you stand while you take the shower is same as the bathroom. The floor plans are like a maze, but this is understandable because of the age of the hotel.

Location being quite central

In comming overseas telephones took much too long to get connected and on some occasions were not transfered to my room at all. confronting the person at the desk, I was told there were phone problems?

Comfortable hotel with a nice atmosphere, great location, friendly staff

The room was poor, it is time to renovate the rooms there, it was also a bit difficult to find the room I was staying in. The bathroom was very poor and it was not very clean.
