71 Nyhavn Hotel was established in an old warehouse, which is now preserved, in 1971. The warehouse was originally used for storage of spices and other articles of commerce from the Far East. As lorries and planes began to take over a great deal of the overseas trade, the importance of the warehouse was somewhat diminished. Consequently it was turned into a storage room for furniture. Everywhere at the hotel you can still see the original rafters made of Pomeranian pine, making you sense an atmosphere of bygone days. With the fantastic location on the corner of the Harbor and the Nyhavn Canal, the 150 rooms offer a splendid framework and setting for your visit in Copenhagen.

Situated on one of the best corners of the lively and gay Nyhavn Canal, Restaurant Pakhuskælderen, in the old warehouse from 1804, welcomes its guests in charming and rustic surroundings. Whether the occasion is a romantic dinner for two or a more formal business dinner, the guests will always feel that quality is the key word to our competent and professional staff. Our menus are often changing, according to the fresh produce of the season. And as our comprehensive wine menu is made up by a true "connaisseur", a visit in Restaurant Pakhuskælderen will always be your guarantee for a memorable evening. An evening in which the unique and charming decor is the natural framework for nothing less than a gastronomic experience out of the ordinary. The Restaurant is open for hotel guests for breakfast and for à la Carte guests from 6 p.m. to 10.30 p.m. all days but Sundays and some holidays. We will be pleased to send you suggestions for menus and wines according to your needs and wishes.

Area information

The charming canal promenade, Nyhavn, is just outside the hotel. The Royal Palace Amalienborg Castle and the Royal Gardens, Amaliehaven are both located right around the corner. Furthermore, the hotel is situated on the harbor pier that leads directly to The Little Mermaid.

Friendly, efficient service, rooms with great character, comfy beds, quality breakfast and pleasant hotel bar. Location was excellent

Of our party of 19, one couple (older) felt their room was small - everyone else loved them. they paid a bit extra for a bigger room with a harbour front view and it was fantastic.

Excellent locale with great character. Good breakfast.

One part is very old with small rooms. Other part is best choice for newer facilities.

Central location.

Having stayed at a standard double room I found the room very small with liitle space for luggage and the bedsize too small for 2 grown ups.

Il bagno è inesistente, la camera molto piccola, non esistono le lenzuola matrimoniali ma solo 2 singole sovrapposte, non c'è la cassaforte in camera, viene reclamizzata la Tv satellitare e la pay per view che non c'è, la hall è bella ma il ristotante e gli altri spazi comuni un pò tristi

freundlicher Empfang, gute Lage des Hotels

die Architektur des Eingangsbereiches ist drittklassig! Das Zimmer sehr klein und dunkel! Das Bad viel zu klein und ungepflegt! Nach jedem Duschen ist alles nass! Unangemessener Preis .Wofür gab's die 4 Sterne?.

läget och frukosten! mysigt fast litet rum...

utsikten; rummet vete mot några rör som låg på taket över entreen. vi blev störda av sena nattgäster eftersom vi var tvungna att hålla fönstret öppet för det var sååååååååå varmt i rummet.
